Adam Peaty’s ex has reacted to his silver medal news at the Olympics.
The sporting star cried “happy tears” after winning silver in the men’s 100 meters breaststroke final at the Paris Olympics, telling the press, “This sport has broken me, but it’s also given me life.”
Eiri Munro posted a photo of their son George, saying: “Congrats, Adam. George is proud of your strength and determination.”
Her emotional post continued: “These are the qualities I pray he inherits. This moment will inspire him and drive him for the rest of his life. Thank you for giving him that.”
The former couple welcomed son George together back in 2020. They met at Loughborough University, later splitting in 2022.
He’s now with Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, who watched on at the Olympics. After the race, Adam told the BBC: “I’m so happy that I can race the fastest in the world and still come second. I’m not crying because I lost, these are happy tears because I said to myself I would give it everything I’ve got and I have. And I can’t be upset about that.”
The swimmer headed right over to Holly and George as they shared a sweet embrace amid his emotion from the result. She has been a pillar of support for her beau as he battles through the high-stakes races at the Paris Olympics 2024. The couple, who went Instagram official in June last year, have been inseparable, with Holly cheering on from the sidelines.
The 24-year-old shared a photo flaunting her nails painted in pink and blue, with one nail featuring the initials ‘AP’ for her beau Adam. Holly’s not shy about expressing her affection for her boyfriend through these thoughtful gestures. The lovebirds have even got matching tattoos to seal their bond, with Adam sporting an ‘H’ on his neck and Holly opting for an ‘A’ discreetly placed behind her ear.
Holly has been openly supportive of Adam, especially as he embarked on his Olympic journey. She took to Instagram with a heartfelt tribute: “It has been an absolute privilege to have watched you this last year. Your determination and dedication is unmatched. Hours of training, team meetings, gym, physio and still you have been the best father to George and the best partner to me. Being able to watch so many training sessions and host team breakfasts has made me so thankful to be a part of your world.”

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. – 1 Corinthians 16:13.” Before falling head over heels for Holly, Adam shared a serious relationship with Eiri – the mother of his son George. Following their breakup, he confessed that he “let her down”.
