Ben Affleck was pictured wearing his wedding ring on Wednesday as he stepped out in Los Angeles.

The Argo director, 51, looked handsome in a dark suit and a blue button up shirt and carried a gym bag while leaving a parking lot. 

As he exited, a brief glimpse of his wedding band was caught as he swiped his keycard. 

The outing comes amid claims that his eldest daughter Violet’s, 18, close relationship with wife Jennifer Lopez, 54, is ‘tricky’ for him, as rumors of the couple’s impending divorce persist.

The actor and the Hustlers star ‘are trying to make this transition as easy as possible and be gentle on their children. 

They don’t want to make things more upsetting than they already have been,’ a source told ET on Wednesday. 

The father-of-three shares Violet as well as Fin (formerly Seraphina) 15, and son Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, 52.

Meanwhile Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 16, with her ex, Marc Anthony, 55.

The insider added that Lopez and Violet ‘have gotten close throughout Jen and Ben’s relationship, and maintaining that closeness is important to everyone.’

‘Ben certainly doesn’t want to cause any strain between Jen and Violet, and he is in support of them spending time together,’ the source shared.

‘It’s a little tricky for him, but both Jen and Ben want all their kids to be happy, regardless of the issues they are facing in their marriage.’

Affleck and Lopez have recently listed their $68 million marital home in Beverly Hills for sell and reportedly want to ‘move forward.’

‘They are trying to sell their home sooner than later and want to move forward. They are hoping to have clear, new, and healthy directions for themselves and for their families,’ the insider divulged.

‘They are trying to be strong, but it is a sad time for everyone, and it is difficult to have to deal with everything playing out publicly.’

Lopez and Violet were recently seen bonding in the Hamptons. The pair were seen chatting warmly at the East Hampton Antiques & Design Show on Saturday.

Violet, who recently delivered an impassioned speech demanding the return of mask mandates in medical facilities, wore a face covering to this weekend’s event but eventually removed it while walking around outdoors with a friend.

Later that day, Lopez snapped a selfie in which she could be seen beaming in the front seat of her car, with Violet and her friend sitting in the back.

A source exclusively informed DailyMail.com this week that Ben and Lopez’s respective children have been working behind the scenes to help them repair their marriage.

‘The kids think Jennifer and Ben are really, deeply in love, like soul mates and they don’t want them to divorce. They want them to work it out for better or for worse, like their vows said.’ the insider explained.

‘And they do feel that the two should continue counseling and talking it out, even if it is painful. They feel like if they do and say the right things that there could be more peace,’ the source continued.

The children are purportedly hoping that Ben and JLo will be able to get ‘back together’ before the pop star celebrates her 55th birthday on July 24.

Their strategy has been to talk to both of the spouses and ‘highlight the positive attributes each have,’ as well as to try and improve Ben’s attitude.

‘He is a prickly one, he can be grumpy, that is true for sure, he is not a happy go lucky kind of dude, even if he is very intelligent and funny. The kids are trying to get him to lighten up and let stuff go,’ said the source.

Lopez looked somber on Tuesday as she took a bike ride on the day of her second wedding anniversary — with her fourth husband Ben nowhere to be seen.

The Out Of Sight star was pictured in the Hamptons in New York as she got some fresh air while dressed in casual overalls.

On the same day, Ben was pictured on the other side of the country at his office in Los Angeles, as he appeared to be taking care of business.

The cross-country outings happened just days after the couple put their Beverly Hills home on the market.

The sighting came exactly two years after the couple first tied the knot at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022. They said ‘I do’ again in a more lavish ceremony the following month in Georgia of 2022.

The couple also spent the Fourth of July weekend apart, as the This Is Me… Now star celebrated in the Hamptons with her family and friends while the Deep Water actor stayed in Los Angeles.

Earlier this summer, reports surfaced that Jen and Ben have been living apart for ‘months,’ amid speculation that they are headed for divorce.

Meanwhile, Us Weekly claimed on Wednesday that there is a ‘sliver of hope’ that Ben and Jennifer could get back together.

‘Jennifer suggested they just take time to figure it out,’ the source said.

It was also added that Bennifer 2.0 ‘still haven’t made a decision’ regarding splitting.
