Nicki Minaj is required to pay $5 million in damages after being sued by a longtime fan for severe emotional distress.

Tameer Peak – a 15-year superfan of Nicki Minaj – has filed a slander lawsuit in LA Superior Court against her seeking $5M damages for ‘reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss.’

The 28-year-old Newark, NJ resident claimed the 41-year-old hip-hop star accused him of ‘being a paid mole sent to sabotage her’ in 2017.

In a TikTok video posted on December 6, Tameer and several fans greet Nicki as she sat in a car but – once she recognized him as ‘somebody that’s been talking s***’ – she put him on blast on her Instagram Live account.

‘What’s the problem?’ Minaj (born Onika Maraj) asked. ‘Say what you got to say. You on candid camera, boo.’

Peak replied: ‘I be talking s*** because I love you, and I try to keep it real with you.’

The 12-time Grammy nominee responded: ‘If you love me? Respect me. You better r-e-s-p-e-c-t!’

In the lawsuit, Tameer claimed Nicki had ‘invited’ him to her hotel during this incident and ’embarrassed him in front of 100K viewers.’

Peak also said Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty allegedly ‘battered him’ during a Super Bowl LIV event in 2020, and she later sent him a DM referring to the incident.

Tameer claimed the Trinidad-born, New York-raised star told him to ‘stop saying dumb s***’ this year through third parties and would target him during X stationhead sessions.

‘It’s clear they’re not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic,’ Nicki allegedly wrote, referring to Peak as mentally ill.

Tameer also alleged Minaj had implied he was on welfare by writing he was ‘one sandwich short of a picnic’ and called him a ‘stalker’ who pretended to work for her.

Peak is known to be litigious with ‘two pending lawsuits’ against NYPD officers as well as one defamation lawsuit pending against X user Cabria Nelson.

The BLM protester – who was charged with obstructing governmental administration in 2021 – told Complex on September 14: ‘I was protesting and doing a lot of activism. I’ve experienced a lot of police brutality by the hands of the NYPD, which has led to multiple lawsuits.’

Tameer is best known as the ‘Alien Superstar’ who ‘blew his savings account’ spending ‘five figures’ to attend eight Beyoncé Renaissance Tour concerts while wearing a prosthetic head.

The Big Difference rapper is scheduled to kick off the second leg of her $81.7M-grossing, 79-date Pink Friday 2 World Tour on September 4 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
